Approach

My work is inspired by the natural processes of wear and tear, like erosion and oxidation, observed on a range of materials including stones and metals. My approach involves letting my creativity run free, using an array of techniques to uncover unique shapes and intricate details that mimic those natural motifs.

I aim to showcase the dynamic capabilities of paint, bringing to light the texture and tactile sensations of the medium. The artworks are a result of experimenting with a mix of acrylics, inks, charcoals, and other mediums, observing how they interact, either blending smoothly or resisting each other. Through careful layering, I manage to turn spontaneous marks and applications of paint into a unified, visually captivating collection.
